The JS0400NW08-TNG-A0 from Shenzhen JicTech is a high-resolution, low-power
4.0 inch active-matrix e paper (EPD) module engineered for demanding battery-powered applications.
With a 480 × 800 pixel panel (~235 DPI), tri-color support and bi-stable electrophoretic
technology, this module delivers paper-like readability in ambient light while consuming power only
during updates.

Typical Operating Sequence (Summary)
- Power on VCI / VDDIO (wait ~10 ms).
- Hardware reset + software reset (0x12), wait BUSY low.
- Load waveform LUT (from OTP or MCU), set panel border and RAM size.
- Write image data to RAM, trigger display update (0x22 / 0x20), wait BUSY low.
- Deep sleep (0x10) before power off to minimize stand-by consumption.
Handling & Mounting Recommendations
- Keep the module flat — avoid bending and mechanical stress on the active area and FPC.
- Protect the front surface with a transparent hard-coat cover to prevent scratches.
- Do not expose to corrosive gases or strong solvents; clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
